Epimethean Challenge

Epimethean Challenge (EC) is a space strategy game where you control a fledgling interstellar nation. Each turn you issue orders — exploring new star systems, colonizing planets, building ships, and negotiating with (or fighting) your neighbors. The game processes everyone’s orders simultaneously, so diplomacy and timing matter as much as tactics.

EC is a modern clone of the 1978 play-by-mail game Empyrean Challenge, updated to run in a browser instead of through the postal service. The rules stay true to the original, but the interface is a lot friendlier than a typewritten envelope.

The game is still in active development. Expect rough edges, resets, and the occasional bug. If something breaks, we genuinely want to hear about it.
